WHAT TO EXPECT

Stage 1
Redness appears occasionally and is often triggered by hot drinks, spicy food, or exercise.

Stage 2
Redness becomes more consistent. Small visible blood vessels (telangiectasia) may appear.

Stage 3
Acne-like breakouts begin, without blackheads. Skin may feel sore or sensitive.

Stage 4
Skin may thicken, particularly around the nose (rhinophyma).

Stage 5
In rare cases, severe rosacea - called phymatous rosacea - can lead to the development of rhinophyma - a bulbous enlargement of the nose, most common in men. Rosacea can also be ocular when it is located on the eyelids, conjunctiva and cornea, manifesting itself as red, watery and very dry eyes.

Are you struggling with weight?
Weight is rarely just about willpower — hormones, metabolism, and years of well-meaning diets that worked against your biology all play a part. Our medical weight loss programme starts from that reality, not from blame.
Every client interaction begins with a full clinical consultation, not putting you on the scales. We look at your metabolic health, hormonal picture, and any factors — including perimenopause and menopause — that may be affecting how your body holds onto weight. From there, we build a plan that's medically supervised from start to finish, combining evidence-based treatment with the kind of ongoing clinical oversight you'd expect from a surgeon-led clinic, not a slimming club.
For the right candidates, this may include prescription-based oral or injectable treatment, always reviewed and monitored by our clinical team, alongside practical guidance on nutrition and movement that fits around a real life — not a rigid regime you'll abandon in a few weeks. We're candid about what these treatments can and can't do, and about the muscle and health considerations that matter as much as the number on the scale.
This isn't a quick-fix add-on to our aesthetics work — it's treated with the same clinical seriousness as any other medical treatment. You'll have a named clinician, regular follow-up, and a plan that adapts as your body changes.
We work with men and women across Aberdeenshire and beyond who want a weight loss approach that's honest, medically grounded, and built around long-term health rather than a single event or occasion.
If you're considering medical weight loss, the first step is simply a conversation. We'll tell you honestly whether it's right for you — and if it isn't, we'll say so.
